Rev.11:15-17 – Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever. ”And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
I often joke about reading the last page of a book to see if I really want to read it. I have read the closing chapters of the Bible many times, each time the result is the same, I am filled with thankfulness because God’s kingdom has overcome and Jesus will rule forever. If all you look at the daily chaos that is all over the world you will get the sense of hopelessness wondering how bad things will get and how we and our families will be effected. Reading the scripture, especially, the book of Revelation, can fill you with a sense of peace and joyful anticipation knowing that the reign of Christ on earth is certain. Today the prophetic time clock has accelerated and God’s final plans are being put in place. Here is how Matthew Henry described this 300 years ago.
“Here were loud and joyful acclamations of the saints and angels in heaven. They rose from their seats and fell upon their faces, and worshiped God. They recognized with thankfulness the right of our God and Savior to rule and reign over the whole world. They gave him thanks because he had taken to himself his great power. They rejoiced that this his reign would never end. No one will ever force the scepter out of his hand.”
Once you get a grip on the plan of God you begin to understand what all the commotion is all about. The spirit of the antichrist is at work in the world. Desperation has set in on all the enemies of God as the end draws near, and they are desperately throwing their most powerful resources at trying to stop God’s kingdom from settling in. In the meantime the Lord is using the upheaval to prepare the hearts of the lost to come into the kingdom. Its not a time to be passive but a time to engage in His kingdom work. As we see the harvest come in we will join with heaven and give thanks because the Lord has taken His great power and begun His reign on earth.

Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven! Thy will be done in my life , for my heart belongs to you God .
