Rev. 5:6-8 ¶ And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

John saw an incredible, seemingly, contradictory vision of Jesus Christ. He saw Him as a lion and also as a lamb. No two creatures could be more different. Each of these animals portray some of the beautiful aspects of the character and person of Jesus Christ. The lion proclaims the power and majesty seen in Christ as the Son of God. The lamb gives us a hint at the incomparable humility and graciousness found in Jesus as the Son of Man. To understand Him, you must see Him in both natures. He is truly the Son of God and also the son of Adam. What an astounding truth. Jonathan Edwards preached one of his greatest messages on this passage. Enjoy this small excerpt from his sermon “The Excellency of Christ”.

“Christ is the Creator and great Possessor of heaven and earth. He is sovereign Lord of all. He rules over the whole universe, and doth whatsoever pleaseth him. His knowledge is without bound. His wisdom is perfect, and what none can circumvent. His power is infinite, and none can resist Him. His riches are immense and inexhaustible. His majesty is infinitely awful. And yet he is one of infinite condescension. None are so low or inferior, but Christ’s condescension is sufficient to take a gracious notice of them. He condescends not only to the angels, humbling himself to behold the things that are done in heaven, but he also condescends to such poor creatures as men; and that not only so as to take notice of princes and great men, but of those that are of meanest rank and degree, “the poor of the world,” James 2:5. Such as are commonly despised by their fellow creatures, Christ does not despise. I Cor. 1:28 ‘Base things of the world, and things that are despised, hath God chosen’. Christ condescends to take notice of beggars Luke 16:22 and people of the most despised nations.”

This is what Paul called the mystery of godliness. The Son of God took on human flesh, He actually became a human for all time. In this person is this seemingly, contradictory nature; power and resignation, sovereignty and total dependence, glory and humility, justice and mercy. What an incredible Savior, what an incredible God! Today, the Holy Spirit can give us the same revelation that John had in Revelation 5. He was weeping in utter despair at the hopeless condition of mankind, until…. When he saw the Lion of the tribe of Judah and he saw the Lamb of God, his sorrow was turned into awe. He joined the rest of heaven worshipping before the throne.

  1. Creation miracles are God’s way of telling us not by our power (The created) but by Him (The author of creation), not because of our righteous (Titus 3:5) but because of His mercy, regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
I’ve lately wondered if God is pouring out His spirit upon all flesh right now and since we live in a spiritual world right now, why can we not see God ? Why do we feel his presense so very powerfull coming, and when he walks right by we feel Him yet an inch from our nose (Only once did i see a huge lion 1 inch from my nose at an Rodney Howard Brown revival event ) but now i can not see him.
I have been having very powerful dreams about Christ and His jealously for His Bride, but yet still he hides behind a cloud. I wake up almost daily with a new dream or vision, but yet still Jesus where are you? I have been praying and fas-ing for jesus to visit me at my home and for a creation miracle for my friend. How come he is still not healed?
God knows my address I’ve seen Him when i got bapitised with the holy ghost (jan 30th 2011 3:00 in the morning). I meditate on Him as the creator, all of the time. I hear His voice over the loud drums during worship. I know that God created us from dust (hebrew – greek -definition – smallest particle- sound waves) His word does not return void, and sound waves respond to our voice (The holy ghost living in us). Sound waves are created into everything (Nasa).
Where is my Jesus? Why doesn’t he come in the flesh to my house ? I will not be satisfied with him speaking to me everyday, burning into my mind verse upon verse, I want to see my creator in person again, again at my house.
He want’s me to preach boldly, the nations are beign judged (Joel 3 The nations parted my land Palestine a state now-Prepare for war) but i want my healing hands (for people to believe “Lord please save Israel and USA!”) my creation miracle hands so people will repent, His creation hands, His Glory, His grace is all i need.
As far as i do understand we the created look thru a fallen creation eyes, to see the creator but we are behind enemy lines. If faith is thru hearing and seeing (I’ve Heard and seen God) How come it is so hard to grow back an arm or leg or even raise the dead? And one last thought where in the bible after the new covenant does a christian die from a disease?
God tells me almost every week our father’s forgot Him and turned away from his ways that is why amercia is living under judgement ( 10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
Isaiah 9:10 (KJV)- the twin towers 9-11-01, there are 9 harbingers)
Remember Before creation jesus was already part of God, When God had an imagination and then he spoke , (His word) Jesus came rushing straight from God’s Heart, to create all things.

My question to pastor frank please tell me how do we really see God as the creator…….Really see Jesus ….. Instead of seeing the lion infront of me ….I want to see the lion (Jesus) walk out of me and grow back an arm or leg, to heal every disease?
