Eph. 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Have you ever wondered what, why, and how creation exists. Surely something so intricate, detailed, and perfect did not happen by random chance. Only a fool or a stubbornly arrogant man could ever try to deny the existence of a creator behind all we see displayed all around us. This leads us to the next conclusion, there has to be a purpose for this amazing universe that we live in. The Bible tells us that all of this; from the stars in the heavens to the flowers of the field, everything exists to display and magnify our great and glorious God. All that exists is created by God to display His glory. Actually, the apex of God’s plan to reveal Himself is seen in the person of His Son. His humanity, His ministry, His death, and His glorification reveal God and His plan. The greatest picture of our God is seen in the redemption of fallen man by the death of His Son. Jonathan Edwards spoke often of God’s glory being seen especially in the bride of Christ, His purchased possession. Check this out.

“Tis to present to his Son a spouse in perfect glory from amongst sinful, miserable mankind, blessing all that comply with his will in this matter and destroying all his enemies that oppose it, and so to communicate and glorify himself through Jesus Christ, God-man. This I take to be the great design of the work of creation [and the] work of providence. God has appointed but one head of the whole creation, and that one head is Jesus Christ, God-man: “head over all things to the church” (Ephesians 1:22); one head to both angels and men, Ephesians 1:10, “all things in Christ.” The one grand medium by which he glorifies himself in all is Jesus Christ, God-man. All the tribute of his glory comes through his hands; in this eminent manner does the Son glorify the Father, which is what Christ has respect [to in] John 17:1, “Father, glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee.”

What an amazing thing, the greatest of all tragedies in all of history, the fall of man, turns out to be the greatest display of the Glory of God. Think about it, we were created in the image of God. Man was intended to be the very crown of His creation. Our rebellion against God was the darkest day in all of history. As a result, God Himself became one of us. The greatest disaster led to the greatest display of God’s love. The grace of our God was offered to us through the life and death of His Son. When the Apostle John was caught up into heaven he saw the bride, the Lamb’s wife. This was the culmination of His vision, the glorification of the redeemed from every tribe and tongue. The consummation of all things is at hand. When Jesus Christ returns we will see for ourselves the shocking display of His glory seen in the beauty of His bride.

  1. What a Creator HE IS… I remember I would just walk the earth and take things for granted, not think about how things were created and by whom. And then I would here people say there is no God, but I would always say to myself ( crazy ) when I was younger then where did all this stuff around me come from?? How the trees grow and produce branches and then little sticks and then leaves and then flowers on one tree. Wow, is there 4 seeds in one seed for it to sprout all of that? I would here people say o its Mother nature or some or scientists. How crazy… When I was younger I always felt this tug but never really knew what it was or who it was. It was my Father in me the whole time. What a love and strong, powerful, bright, amazing, unique, awesome, everything Father we have. Well I don’t take it for granted anymore, ha, He is my LOVE, He has touched me, showed me, i have tasted Him and I love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, strengh everyday. Hallelujah, I’m with my Daddy. It’s so amazing to get up ans say good morning Dad and I love you, and watch the Son come up… lol. I am His tree and still sprouting and being formed in Him. I am in the soil, His amazing dirt. His word, His Bible, hallelujah, thank you Lord for opening my ears to hear and my eyes to see your Glorious CREATION.. BLESSINGS PASTOR FRANK,WITH THE LOVE OF MY FATHER…;)
