WHAT’S HE DOING HERE ?
Eph. 6:18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).
Prayer is more powerful than any of us can imagine. Prayer is only as limited as God is which means it is unlimited. All of God’s power and His wisdom are available to His sons and daughters who call upon His name. Paul taught us about the importance of prayer, specifically praying in the Spirit, when we are dealing with the powers of darkness. Isaiah said that the yoke of oppression is broken by the anointing. The limited power of the enemy is no match to the unlimited power of God.
I actually saw this on display years ago when casting a spirit out of a young woman. The spirit began to make all sorts of unpleasant sounds as we were commanding it to come out. A young teenaged girl who was newly saved was observing this scenario and began to pray in her heavenly language. I’ll never forget what happened next. The demonized girl looked at the teen ager praying in the Spirit and suddenly the demon blurted out “What is He doing here?” This is where I saw clearly that when we pray in tongues, it is not we who pray but The Lord actually prays through us. That revelation changes everything. Here is what A.B. Simpson said about prayer and dealing with the enemy.
“The artillery of prayer is important. “And pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Pray also for me”. This brings into play all the armor already described, and best of all, brings God into the action and covers us with His presence and almighty power. It will be noticed that the moment He gets us to pray, the devil disappears from the scene. The battle seems to be over, and we even stop praying about ourselves and our conflict. But the whole scene ends in prayer for others, and a high and holy unselfishness that loses itself in the cause of God and the needs of others. This is literally true. Satan runs away from a saint upon his knees; and when we become occupied with God in prayer, we are lifted to a sphere where the dragon cannot reach us. This is not so much the act of occasional prayer under some emergency, but it is the habit of prayer that is here described, a life encased in prayer, the spirit armored in God’s overshadowing presence, so that it is impenetrable and unapproachable by the devil’s wiles or wicked assaults.”
So if you are facing circumstances way beyond your control, pray in the Spirit. When you do, The Lord Himself will come on the scene. You may not see Him but your enemy will and he will certainly run for cover.

PRAY, PRAY AND PRAY SOME MORE….
See you in Church this morning Pastor Frank, with LOVE.
Love that the whole scene ends in prayers for others!and a high and holy unselfishness that loses itself in the cause of others!! To god be the glory!
I can remember back when The Lord had me relax one night. Actually I was soaking in the tub. And I began to pray in the spirit. The more I kept praying I was hearing him tell me to ignore everything that came to mind while I was praying and the more I ignored it I kept praying in the spirit harder and harder. After about two hours soaking in the tub praying in the spirit I hit something in the spirit. A great peace came upon my head. And I remember I kept saying lord what is this this is wonderful. And went to lay down to enjoy it. There was so much freedom in my mind it was an experience I will never forget. While I was in the mist experiencing this I was interrupted by a knock on the door. He was crying and haveing problems at home with his wife and he wanted to come in. My first reaction was to tell him to go home. But the religious part of me called him back in. And the more he shared and talked I was feeling what was on me leaving. And as soon as it left he stopped crying and began to laugh. And than he left. That’s when I saw in his word in proverbs not to entangle myself with marriage affairs. The enemy comes to steal. He stole that moment from me. But iam more educated now. Praying in spirit opens up the truth about his word. It means so much more when we are out the way.
