Ps.8:3 – When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place;

The fool has said in his heart, “there is no God”. It is amazing to me to see the obvious orchestration of the vast universe by someone far more intelligent and powerful than any of us and see the outrageous conclusions the most brilliant among us come to. There has recently been a new advanced telescope placed in space to observe the heavens. It is the James Webb Space Telescope and is looking deeper into space by far than anything possible before. Scientists are looking literally into eternity and infinity with their invention and still believe the incredible complicated and complex universe came into existence by chance. It would be easier to believe you grabbed some gold, diamonds, and other metals, put them in a bag and shook them up real good and out popped a Rolex watch. What do you think? That is way more likely than to think everything exists by accident. Here is something NASA recently said about their new telescope.

“Webb’s NIRCam has brought distant galaxies into sharp focus – they have tiny, faint structures that have never been seen before, including star clusters and diffuse features. Light from these galaxies took billions of years to reach us. We are looking back in time to within a billion years after the big bang when viewing the youngest galaxies in this field. The light was stretched by the expansion of the universe to infrared wavelengths that Webb was designed to observe. Researchers will soon begin to learn more about the galaxies’ masses, ages, histories, and compositions. Webb’s MIRI image offers a kaleidoscope of colors and highlights where the dust is – a major ingredient for star formation, and ultimately life itself. Blue galaxies contain stars, but very little dust. The red objects in this field are enshrouded in thick layers of dust. Green galaxies are populated with hydrocarbons and other chemical compounds. Researchers will be able to use data like these to understand how galaxies form, grow, and merge with each other, and in some cases why they stop forming stars altogether.”

Blah, blah, blah…… Like I said, the fool has said in his heart there is no God. Why can’t brilliant minds see the obvious? Spiritual blindness, our sins, particularly pride, has blinded our eyes that we cannot see what is staring us in the face- the absolute beauty and majesty of our Creator.
