Mk.5:25,26 – And a certain woman…when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
Sometimes it can seem like the Lord does things for other people but you somehow are just not on the radar. Some of that comes from thinking you are inferior or insignificant but the truth be known, that can simply be described as a lack of faith. So where does that faith come from? How can I go from “I wish that would happen to me but it never does” to “something amazing is about to happen in my life”? It is really quite simple, faith comes from God. Hearing about Him and coming into His presence is a sure recipe for miracles. This woman had moved beyond “I hope I get a miracle” to “if I can only touch Him I will be healed”. She realized she was that ‘certain woman’. That is a huge leap but it happens when we come in contact with Him. Here is how Kathryn Kuhlman described this woman and her miracle.
“Lydia was a ‘certain woman’ in that day, but you are also a certain man or woman in the presence of the Lord today. God sees you. In terms of the Lord’s willingness, desire, and power, it is as if you are the only person in the entire world. Even though you are standing among a vast multitude, the Lord will single you out—if you touch Him by faith. Matthew records that Lydia said within herself, “If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.” Her discussion was with her own heart. Her persuasion was in her own heart. She did not have to argue with a priest, or a relative, or a friend about the matter, she had but to know within herself that He would heal her, and to the extent that she knew that she would be healed. She knew that she would be made whole and so she was. That is the way to touch the Lord: absolutely persuaded in your own heart that He will meet your need, and He will.”
So that’s it, you are that certain person, you are the one He has His eye on and you are the one about to receive an amazing touch from God. In an instant this woman felt God’s power going through her, she knew from that moment her life would never be the same again.

God is the awesomeness God there is. He is the God of all gods, the Lord of Lords , the one and only Mighty One. He sees all and knows all. It is just amazing that He sees me in every moment of my life … whether I’m asleep or awake He’s got His eye on me. He cares for my spiritual wellbeing as well as my physical being. I may listen to many blessed women and men of God but God is the all seeing and knowing in my life. I must trust Him … Him alone. He is my truth. He is my life. He is my only way. I love Him.
Thank You. Jesus.
