ISRAEL COMES ALIVE

Ezekiel 37:11-14 – Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am going to open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. And I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it,” declares the LORD.’”

Ezekiel was prophesying to the people and leaders of Israel during the Babylonian captivity. His revelations encompassed not only the situation Israel was in in his day but he also saw through the centuries to the end of days and God’s final promise being fulfilled. That promise was not only about the sons of Abraham taking possession of the promised land but that there would be a last day awakening among the Jews that can only be described like Ezekiel’s vision describes it. A people who had been dead in their sins and unbelief would have a sudden and shocking visitation of the breath of God. Multitudes of Jews would be born of the Spirit suddenly, it will be a major sign and wonder to the entire world. Here is what the Fire Bible says about this important prophetic word.

“The vision of the revived bones would be fulfilled at the time of Israel’s restoration, physically and spiritually. This restoration was partially fulfilled when Cyrus of Persia allowed exiles to return to Jerusalem, but it will be fully realized only when God gathers the Israelites to their land in the end time and a great spiritual revival occurs. During this time, many Jews will believe in and accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah. This will happen before Christ returns to establish his millennial kingdom, when he will reign on earth in peace for a thousand years at the end of time as we know it.”

The nation of Israel has been shockingly held in place for thousands of years. They survived slavery in Egypt, the Babylonian captivity, the scattering to the nations by the Romans, and the attempt at extermination by the Nazis. Today they are surprisingly in their homeland though attacked on many fronts since the rebirth of Israel in 1948. They are now poised for Ezekiel’s prophesy about the resurrection of dry bones to be fulfilled. Ezekiel, the Apostle Paul, and Jesus Himself spoke about a day when the people of Israel would embrace their Messiah. The current events in the Middle East are certainly preparing the way for this to take place.
