Rev.14:6,7 – Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
We all know that the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. This passage stands out to me as a great example of that, this could be called GOD’S FINAL APPEAL. This event takes place at the very end of history as we know it, sometime close to the end of the Great Tribulation just before the Second Coming of Christ. By now the rapture has happened, the antichrist has ruled and been exposed for the evil that he is, we have seen the false prophet, the two witnesses, the mark of the beast, and the incomparable judgement that has decimated much of the earth and its population. There have been multitudes martyred for their faith but the Lord sends His last messenger, an angel proclaiming the everlasting gospel to anyone who has not taken the mark and is still breathing. The Lord’s mercy lasts forever. Here is how Barclay describes this passage.
“The angel comes with an everlasting gospel. Everlasting could mean that the gospel is eternally valid, that even in a world which is crashing to its doom its truth still stands. It could mean that the gospel has existed from all eternity. Paul, in the great final hymn of praise in Romans, speaks of Jesus Christ as the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began (Romans 16:25). It could mean that the gospel is the eternal purpose of God for the world. It could mean that it deals with the eternal things.
It may seem strange that the angel with the gospel is followed immediately by the angels of doom. But, of necessity, the gospel has a double-edged quality. It is good news for those who receive it, but it is judgment to those who reject it. And the condemnation of those who reject it is all the greater because they were given the chance to accept it.’
The end of the age is fast approaching, the last harvest of the earth is upon us, how is it with your soul? Have you given your life to Christ or are you still playing between the two worlds? Today is the day of salvation, there is not much time left. It’s time for all of us to join with this angel to proclaim the everlasting gospel while there is still time.

Amen.
Its is never never too late for anyone to be saved to acknowledge Jesus as our Savior ; until judgement day, until His coming.
Holy Spirit,
While I have still this time left on earth before Your coming, keep my eyes focus on Your purpose and plan for my life. For the enemy roams like lion, he is like a thief in the night, he is like a wolf in sheep clothing, seeking to destroy the life You have given me. Amen.
