TELL THE MESSAGE OF HIS GLORY AND HIS MIRACLES

Ps.96:2,3 – Don’t stop! Keep on singing! Make his name famous!
Tell everyone every day how wonderful he is.
Give them the good news of our great Savior.
Take the message of his glory and miracles to every nation.
Tell them about all the amazing things he has done.

David saw the supernatural power of God connected to the anointing in his life. He saw the giant killed with a sling, he killed 100 Philistines as a dowry for Saul’s daughter, and he saw supernatural protection from Saul’s army for years. But David did not see the glory that is available to all of us today in the gospel of Jesus. David sang about the glory and the miracles, but these miracles came through the work of Jesus on the cross. The blood has been poured out, access to the glory has come – signs, wonders, and miracles are now found in the presence of the Lord. This is how John Gill describes the radiance of His glory and the miracle power of the Lord.

“Declare his glory—what a glorious person the Messiah is; the brightness of his Father’s glory; having all the perfections of Deity in him; how the glory of God appears in him, and in all that he has done; and especially in the work of redemption, in which the glory of divine wisdom, power, justice, truth, and faithfulness, love, grace, and mercy, is richly displayed; say what glory he is advanced unto, having done his work, being highly exalted, set at the right hand of God, and crowned with glory and honor, and what a fulness of grace there is in him, for the supply of his people; and what a glory is on him, which they shall behold to all eternity.”

Singing with joy comes spontaneously to those who have been touched by the glory of the Lord. For years as a Christian I had no idea what glory even was (even though I thought I did), until the day when His glory began to visit our church thirty years ago. His glory became tangible and completely undeniable. He Had come with His mighty presence, the result was the miracle power of the Lord. In this atmosphere sins are forgiven, addicts are set free, the miserably depressed are filled with joy. If you have tasted His glory you know what I am saying, tell the message of His glory and miracles to every nation.
