Psa. 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!

Jesus said that God is seeking worshippers. To the human ear, that just sounds strange,
to the renewed mind, not so much. You see, worship is the response to seeing greatness. Praise just comes out of our hearts when we see something that stands out as excellent or powerful. You know what I am talking about, the unrestrained cheers when your team wins the Superbowl, the shouts of joy and high fives when a golfer scores the illusive hole in one. What about when your child scores the winning goal, how many people do we tell about our chest swelling joy. Worship is part of our everyday life. Why is it so hard to worship God in a real way? Not just the canned, predictable church songs, I mean the shouts of joy that bubble out of a heart that has seen greatness. Martin Luther had some funny things to say about worship, check him out.

“Go ahead and praise your God. We all use God’s blessings every day, but we never think about where they come from—God. He is the one who gives us everything. Instead, we accept his gifts as if they simply appeared out of nowhere or as if we earned them through our own efforts, diligence, or wisdom. We think that God somehow owes us these things, and therefore we don’t need to thank him. Even animals don’t live that shamefully. Pigs recognize the person who gives them their food. They’ll run after her and cry to her. But the world doesn’t even recognize God, let alone thank and praise him for these blessings. If God’s people must be encouraged to praise him, how can the world be expected to do any better? It’s astounding how unwilling people are to acknowledge what God has done for them and to praise him for it.”

I guess, at the end of the day, worshippers are created when they view the goodness and greatness of God. Worship is not real when we do it out of duty, that smacks of contrived religion and is an insult to the Lord. When someone gets a glimpse of what He is really like, there is nothing left to do, worship is then all we can do. Worship is what happened when the Lord parted the Red Sea, Miriam led the people in the dance. Worship was the result when the anointing fell on David, the manifest presence created a worshipper. When the healing miracles flowed from the ministry of Jesus, the people would begin to shout and glorify the Lord.
Have you ever caught a glimpse of His greatness? If you have, you know what I am talking about. When we see Him for ourselves we can’t help ourselves. Worship is our response to greatness. I guess our response must be to put ourselves in a place to see that greatness. Pursue Him. Seek Him in His word and seek Him where true worshippers gather. Don’t be surprised when you join the ranks of those who worship in Spirit and in truth.

I found the following definition of worship on-line:
Broadly defined, the response to the appearance of that which is accepted as the holy-that is, to a sacred, transcendent power or being. Characteristic modes of response to the holy include cultic acts of all kinds: ritual drama, prayers of many sorts, dancing, ecstatic speech, veneration of various persons and objects, sermons, silent meditation, and sacred music and song. Also included in worship are acts of private response: spoken or unspoken prayers, silence, the assumption of particular postures, ritual acts and gestures, and individual acts of veneration of persons or objects.
The word that jumps out to me is “response”. In order for a response to take place two somethings must come in contact. Worship’s definition will open up to become one’s very life when those spooky religious sayings become a reality in believers: abide in Him, pray without ceasing, walking in the spirit and so on. / empty hands raised high

I worship Him ALL day with KLOVE and put up speakers on the outside of my house and dance sing worship in the front yard all the time. People probably think im crazy jumping and dancing out there while they pass, but I don’t care what they think,I know what i have found if you’ve really felt a touch of Him you would be doing the same thing. Wow I always have His Presence with me I talk to Him I ask Him when I finish my Bible study do my morning routine and ask Him what are we wearingu today Dad. But back to the front yard i have a dog named Lila and she loves to play ball and will turn the music up real loud and dance on the porch while I’m throwing the tennis ball to Lila back and forth off the porch and people just look and say look at that crazy guy. Well I don’t follow man anymore and I don’t care what other man say about me i will DANCE and WORSHIP my FATHER in Heaven. My wife and daughters think im nuts but thats ok they are not saved yet but getting close thank GOD for Beyond The Grave. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE MY REAL FATHER AND I’M NOT AFRAID NO MORE AND I FILL HIS POWER, PRAISE HIM
