Rev.22:16 – I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.

Something happened yesterday, September 26, of major prophetic importance. Two Christian gatherings gathered in Washington D.C. calling our country back to God. One was a prayer march led by Franklin Graham called Prayer March 2020. The other was called The Return led by Jonathan Kahn. Both were attended by many thousands of Christians, repenting and calling America back to the God of her fathers. I watched the sermon by Jonathan Kahn and felt stirred deeply by his prophetic words. As he spoke of Jeremiah and shattered the pot on the stage I felt as if the Lord had sent one of his prophets of old to call America back to Him. I felt hope beginning to burn in my heart, hope for a great move of God in this generation. This scripture comes to my mind, the Lord is the bright and morning star. His appearance marked the beginning of God’s glorious day. I felt that yesterday the morning star appeared again, the great day of light is upon us. Here is an excerpt from Jonathan Kahn on the condition of our nation.

“Some would call it tolerance, I said. Yes he replied, the same tolerance that overtook ancient Israel..a tolerance for everything opposed to God, a growing tolerance for immorality and a growing intolerance for the pure-a tolerance that mocked, marginalized and condemned those who remained faithful to the values now being discarded. Innocence was ridiculed and virtue was vilified. Children were taught of sexual immorality in public schools while the Word of God was banned. It was a tolerance that put the profane on public display and removed nativity scenes from public sight..contraband, as if somehow they had become a threat-a strangely intolerant tolerance. ‘But still’, I countered, how does all that compare to what happened in ancient Israel? America doesn’t offer its children on altars of sacrifice?’ ‘Does it not? he said. Ten years after removing prayer and Scripture from its public schools, the nation legalized the killing of its unborn’.”

I believe the morning star is shining in the hearts of God’s people that have remained faithful. The Lord is calling for His remnant to become a city set upon a hill. We are living in God’s prophetic moment, it is time for God to act. He is searching for those to act through.
