I SEE YOU LORD

Eph.1:18 – TPT – I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination (kardia), flooding you with light…

I see You Lord – I see You in the scripture as You spoke and everything came into being. I see the vastness of Your creation in the stars that You flung from your hand – I see the oceans teeming with life in response to Your word – I see the animals of all kinds dancing through the fields and forests of Your vast new creation. I see the crown of Your creation, Adam and Eve, walking with You in the garden, the promise of the seed of a woman who would crush Satan’s head, I see Your plan of redemption unveiled as Your son and daughter fell into rebellion – I see the vast prophetic message beginning to be unveiled. I see Abraham the Father of many nations offering Isaac on the altar.

I see the promise of the prophet like Moses who would be the Savior of the world. I see Your miracles from the parting of the Red Sea to the manna from heaven for forty years. I see Elijah and Elisha raising people from the dead. I see Isaiah in the temple, his eyes unveiled with Your plan of redemption, the Suffering Servant crucified on a cross. I see You born of a virgin cloaked in the humility of a common man. I see You healing the blind man, cleansing the lepers, and causing the lame to leap for joy. I see You walking on water, feeding the multitudes, and calming the angry storm. I see You outside the empty tomb calling Your friend Lazarus back from the dead. I see You in Gethsemane saying yes to the Father’s plan of redemption, I see You on the cross carrying my sins and my shame. I see You coming out of the empty tomb conquering death once and for all. I see You caught up to the Father’s right hand reigning as King of kings and Lord of lords.

I see a mighty River flowing out from you baptizing the nations in Your great love. I see the upper room with tongues of fire falling on Your disciples. I see You meeting Paul on the Road to Damascus and I see You meeting Your old friend John on the beach on Patmos.

I see Your glory all around me, I see the signs of Your coming crying out to this generation. I see You and Your glorious church in a great celebration as this age draws to a close. I see You at work in our city and in my life. I see You.
