Rev.4:9-11 – And when the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders will fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and they will worship Him who lives forever and ever, and will cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”
Heaven is a place of harmony, everything and every creature is flowing in absolute unity as they honor and give thanks to the Lord. There is a sense of infinite gratitude for all that are there with Him; from the angels and seraphim to the elders and those redeemed from every tribe and tongue from every generation all moving together in the song of thanksgiving. For the angels and the seraphim they are overwhelmed by the Creator, He created each of them to enjoy and magnify His glorious presence. For the twenty four elders and the innumerable multitude there is a song of thanksgiving because of His redeeming blood. We were lost, part of a fallen race, until Christ became one of us to die for us. We certainly can magnify the Lord with the angels for His magnificence revealed in His work of creation and for everything that we enjoy in this universe but our gratitude comes from redemption, we sing a song that the angels simply can never sing.
But you and I are still on this side of eternity, and yet we catch the overflow of the song of the angels and the song of the redeemed as we enter into His presence with thanksgiving. We give thanks to the Lord because of the display of His greatness and the creativity that we see and enjoy in His creation; but there is more for us, much more as we discover the amazing grace displayed when He purchased us with His blood. This giving of thanks for His redeeming blood connects us to the millions of others from every tribe and every generation. We share a unity that comes from His blood. As we join together in the song of redemption the sweet harmony of heaven overtakes us, we begin to walk in a supernatural rhythm, a union that flows from heaven itself. We now taste the edge of it and it is amazing, one day soon we will be swallowed up in heaven’s song.

A song that I love to sing “ Holy Forever “
by Chris Tomlin . A thousand generations. Falling down in Worship. To sing the song of ages to the Lamb . All who’ve gone before us and all who will believe. Will sing the song of ages to the Lamb . Your name is the highest, your name is the greatest, your name stands above them all …… ( Redemption, The Blood of Jesus )
