Rev.6:12 – And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
The book of Revelation gives us quite an alarming look at the overthrow of the systems of this world. As the end approaches we can see from our own experience the more obvious influence and control of the spirit of antichrist involved in the political, economic, and religious systems of this age. The book of Revelation gives us a look at their overthrow and the replacement by the Lord Jesus and His sons and daughters. The transition will be quite an upheaval but the end result is certain, The Lord Jesus will reign on this earth in Jerusalem and we will reign with Him. Here is how the Fire Bible describes part of this transition.
“…it is likely that the effects of several plagues or disasters are going on at the same time and may linger throughout much of the tribulation period. Some of the events described with the opening of the seals clearly seem to anticipate or preview things that will be fully revealed or executed in later judgments. The sixth seal actually appears to give an overview of the entire period of judgment yet to come.…… From that point on, God’s direct judgments will begin to throw the visible universe out of its natural order, eventually leading to the destruction of the present world system and ushering in Christ’s millennial (thousand-year) reign of peace on earth to close out time as we know it.”
For those who don’t have eyes to see this transition period that we are living in can seem chaotic and out of control, nothing could be further from the truth. For those whose eyes are wide open they know that all these events are birth pangs announcing the unveiling of the kingdom of God that is at hand. The Lord’s plan is proceeding exactly and precisely according to His plan, the spirit of the world is being exposed as it becomes more desperate. Many hearts will turn to the Lord as the apocalyptic drama unfolds. For those who know Him its time to press in and get closely connected to His church, for those who are not walking with the Lord its time to turn to Him with all of your heart.

Sh’mot (Exo) 19:16
“On the morning of the third day, there was thunder, lightning and a thick cloud on the mountain. Then a shofar blast sounded so loudly that all the people in the camp trembled.
Mount Sinai was enveloped in smoke, because Adonai descended onto it in fire — its smoke went up like the smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain shook violently. As the sound of the shofar grew louder and louder, Moshe spoke; and God answered him with a voice.”
We are nearing the end of the second day, God our Father has been calling His Church to return to Him. He has been calling to His Bride to get cleaned up, dressed, and ready for His coming. He has been warning His Prophets and Shepherds to prepare the storehouse for the Harvest. We may not know the day or hour of His coming, but we see Him in the Festival of Yom Turuah, Feast of Trumpets. With the blast of trumpets and shouts it begins 10 Days of Awe, and preparations for the judgement of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
