IN CHRIST

Paul said that we are seated in heavenly places in Christ. Think of it like this; I am crucified with Christ, buried with Christ, resurrected with Christ, and seated at the Father’s right hand with Christ. His victories have all become mine. Jesus is in the Father, He is also in me and I am in Him. My life His hidden with Christ and He has become my identity. In the first chapter of Ephesians Paul describes the blessing that comes to us because we are in Christ. I listed these truth from Ephesians today. Take some time and reflect on each of these scriptures. Each one share a precious truth that has become ours in Christ. These are not future promises but present realties in all of us.

ALL THE BLESSINGS OF THE SPIRIT

Eph.1:3 – May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!

2. CHOSEN IN HIM

Eph.1:4 – even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

3. LAVISHED WITH GRACE IN THE BELOVED

Paul said that we are seated in heavenly places

Eph.1:6 – [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

4. REDEMPTION IN HIM

Eph.1:7 – In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

5. CONSUMMATION OF HIS PLAN IN HIM

Eph.1:10 – [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.

6. WE HAVE AN INHERITANCE IN HIM

Eph.1:11 – In him we have obtained an inheritance,

7. OUR HOPE IS IN HIM

Eph.1:12 – so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

8. THE SEAL AND FORETASTE OF THE SPIRIT IN HIM

Eph.1:14 – who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
