Amos 9:13,14 – Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” GOD’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.

This prophesy in Amos has two beautiful applications. First it describes the supernatural nature of God’s provision through an amazing harvest of crops. Now of course the farmers still had to do the work, the difference was that the fruit of their labor was multiplied. Rather than say a ten fold harvest there would be a thirty, sixty, or one hundred fold harvest. There is a supernatural provision available for God’s people. The second application is also quite amazing. There would be an unprecedented harvest of souls. It would start suddenly, it would be enormous in scope, and it would continue until the end of the age. Here is how Matthew Henry describes both aspects of this word from the Lord.

“In the kingdom of the Messiah there will be great plenty, an abundance of all good things that the country produce: The plough man shall overtake the reaper, that is, there will be such a plentiful harvest every year, and so much grain to be gathered in, that it will last all summer, even until autumn, when it is time to begin to plow again. Similarly, the wine harvest will continue till the time for sowing, and there will be such an abundance of grapes that even the mountains shall drop new wine into the vessels of those who gather the grapes, and the hills that were dry and barren will be moistened and will melt with the richness or mellowness of the soil.…When great multitudes were converted to the faith of Christ, and nations were born suddenly, when the preachers of the Gospel were always caused to triumph in (2Co 2:14) the success of their preaching, then the plough man overtook the reaper. When the Gentile churches were enriched in all utterance, and in all knowledge, and all manner of spiritual gifts, then the mountains dropped sweet wine.”

I think this is what we sense happening right under our noses. In this last year we experienced supernatural provision at Victory so that we can repair and restore our church. There is a new sense of God moving among us as many are coming to the Lord. I believe this year will mark a personal season of accelerated blessings for the people in this church. You will continue to labor in your personal profession and in your area of ministry. The difference will prove to be staggering for some, unprecedented blessing in your financial harvest and many souls coming to the Lord. We have seen the Lord do amazing things in the past, the suddenness and thoroughness can catch you by surprise. This may just be the season we have longed for coming in among us.
